Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association（JEITA: Representative Director/Chairperson Kei Uruma, Representative Executive Officer, and President & CEO, Mitsubishi Electric Corporation）announced today that it will host Inter BEE 2026, a comprehensive media event, at Makuhari Messe from November 18th (Wed) to 20th (Fri), 2026. Applications for exhibiting at Inter BEE 2026 will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on March 2nd (Mon), with the first deadline for applications being May 29th (Fri) and the second deadline for applications being June 30th (Tue).

Inter BEE is one of Japan’s largest comprehensive events representing the media and entertainment industry, and this year marks its 62nd edition. The event covers the entire ecosystem—from content creation (production), connection (delivery), and receiving (experience) to business generation and value circulation. Bridging diverse industry sectors, it has evolved into a platform that fosters collaboration and co-creation beyond traditional boundaries, generating new value and markets while delivering cross-industry business opportunities across video, broadcasting, film, audio, lighting, live events, online platforms, and facilities.

Inter BEE 2026 consists of four categories covering all professional fields of the media and entertainment industry: Professional Audio, Entertainment / Lighting, Video Production & Broadcast Equipment, and Media Solutions. Each category collaborates with related AV× IT sectors to expand and strengthen its respective business domains. As a platform where the latest technologies, products, and services for content creation, delivery, and experience converge, Inter BEE attracts a broad range of media and entertainment professionals every year.

At Inter BEE 2026, Special Events will focus on specific fields and target audiences, providing in-depth insights from the forefront of each category as well as opportunities to discover and experience the latest technologies and products. INTER BEE MEDIA Biz will present a platform highlighting how media businesses create and circulate value centered on content. Newly rebranded, INTER BEE MoIP will focus on the sustainable development of Media over IP, sharing knowledge and practical expertise through industry collaboration. INTER BEE IGNITION × DCEXPO, a co-creation platform where advanced content technologies converge, will be enhanced with a focus on the Startup & University Area. In the field of video content production, INTER BEE CREATIVE will showcase cutting-edge creative trends, while INTER BEE CINEMA, dedicated to film production, will offer expanded programming for film industry professionals. Under the theme of professional audio experiences, INTER BEE EXPERIENCE will feature two popular hands-on programs: “X-Speaker” for SR speakers and “X-Headphone / X-Microphone” for headphones and microphones.
