The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA; Representative Director/Chairman Takashi Niino, Chairman of the Board, NEC Corporation) announced today that visitor pre-registration for Inter BEE 2026, a comprehensive media event, at Makuhari Messe from November 18 (Wed) to 20(Fri), 2026, has officially opened on the Inter BEE official website (https://www.inter-bee.com).
■ Special Programs Explore the Changing Media Landscape, from AI to Video and Content Business
This year’s INTER BEE IGNITION × DCEXPO will be held under the theme “AI Steps into the Physical World.” The program will explore the current state of AI-enhanced media and its future potential from a variety of perspectives.
In the video production field, INTER BEE CREATIVE will feature exhibitions of the latest products and services, along with a range of sessions, while INTER BEE CINEMA will showcase products supporting filmmaking and the latest developments in film production. INTER BEE MEDIA Biz will explore the evolution of the broadcasting business as well as trends across the broader media industry, including film and anime.
■ Demonstrating Next-Generation Broadcast Production and Experiencing the Latest Audio Technologies
In the broadcast production field, INTER BEE MoIP, organized by the Media over IP Consortium, will explore next-generation production environments from three perspectives: equipment interoperability, broadcasters, and vendors. The program will also include a demonstration in which broadcast engineers carry out actual production using remote operations from the Inter BEE venue.
In the audio field, INTER BEE EXPERIENCE X-Speaker, held at the International Conference Hall, will offer special listening sessions in a live-studio-class environment, featuring point-source, stand-mounted, and line-array speaker systems.
Meanwhile, INTER BEE EXPERIENCE X-Headphone/X-Microphone in the exhibition halls will feature a special WMAS (Wireless Multi-channel Audio Systems) demonstration in conjunction with the keynote session for the professional audio sector.
■ Discussing Sustainability in the Media Industry
In addition to the Opening & Keynote and keynote sessions for each special program, INTER BEE FORUM will feature special sessions with international speakers.
Through a report examining the latest developments in the global MediaTech industry and discussions on sustainability initiatives in the media sector, the program will provide insights into key trends and developments shaping the global media industry.
■ INTER BEE AWARD 2026
The INTER BEE AWARD, which recognizes products and services that contribute to the advancement of media technology and the growth of the market, will be held again this year.
Now in its third year, the award will evaluate eligible products, services, and other entries exhibited at the venue. The final judging will take place at the exhibition venue on Wednesday, November 18, with the winning products and services scheduled to be announced and honored later that day.
