A competition of the line array speaker systems from nine companies will be held! This is the first time in Japan; an entire event hall is dedicated for this event. This spectacular world event opens on November 20th in Makuhari, Chiba.

“Inter BEE 2014” is an annual professional technology conference and exhibition of audio, video and the communications industry, celebrating its 50th year this year. It will be held for 3 days from November 19 to 21 at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba City). To commemorate the 50th year of Inter BEE, various special events are planned. A series of events called " The Inter BEE EXPERIENCE" will be held at Makuhari Messe Event Hall on the opening day, November 20.

“The Inter BEE EXPERIENCE” is divided into two parts. The first part is the experience of the demonstration of line array speakers. The second part is the 50th anniversary celebration party to express our gratitude, which will be held after the closing of the exhibit hall. At the party “Rhizomatiks” creators of audio and visual technical effects for many live events will provide live entertainment. This event is free of charge.

The nine prominent exhibitors, nine products and schedule for line array speaker system demonstration are given below.


The line array loud speaker systems used in large-scale events and music concerts have been exhibited at previous Inter BEEs; however, because of sound volume limitations in the exhibition booths, it has never been possible to demonstrate the volume as at a real event. This time, with the use of a dedicated event hall separate from the main exhibition hall, you can experience the loudness in a setting of the space close to the actual use environment.

This audio demo is not only the first of its kind in Japan but also a significant advancement for the world. This is truly “AN EXPERIENCE” of the real demo.

From 10:30 to 16:40, each exhibitor will demonstrate its product for 30 minutes with a small break between exhibitors. Exhibitors’ names and products, and the demonstration schedule are as follows:

This live demo will be held at the Makuhari Event Hall adjacent to the Makuhari Messe exhibition hall. The Makuhari Event Hall can accommodate an audience of up to 9000 and is often used for large-scale live entertainment events.
