The US Embassy-Department of Commerce is an export promotion agency, part of the US Department of Commerce in Japan. They support various efforts to promote the export of US products and services to Japan.
The US Embassy-Department of Commerce has recognized Inter BEE as a Certified Trade Fair since last year. Certified Trade Fair status is given only to some high-quality shows that have met strict standards. As the cooperation of broadcasting and communication and the utilization of ICT gets more and more advanced, InterBEE continuously evaluates the scale and the qualitative level of content, which has led to the largest number of exhibitors ever, and led to its becoming a Certified Trade Fair.

The booths appealed for American companies' exhibition support and also added overseas broadcast related exhibitions, such as NAB.
The SCP (Single Company Promotion) supports Japanese companies and agencies of US companies by conducting seminars on product introduction, and "Business Matchmaking" provides support in finding US companies looking for partners in Japan, as well as partner recruitment information. Other support includes visits to the United States, buying and inspection missions, and visiting exhibitions held in the United States.

Over the past few years, over 100 BEE companies and brands have been exhibited at Inter BEE. Last year, a forum presided over by the US Embassy-Department of Commerce was held with the theme "broadcasting and the future of ICT".
On the 16th of this year, a lecture by Erick Kish, Senior Officer of Commerce at US Embassy-Department of Commerce, was held under the name "Introduction to the latest technology of the United States".
Also, on the 18th, a special seminar organized by the US Embassy was held under the name "USA Showcase Forum #1: Special Embassy-Sponsored Seminar". This year, speakers from Adobe, Amazon, and Viewsix Corporation held lectures on the world of images developed by new technologies. Each company delivered a lecture on services supporting future video production such as 4K, 8K, VR, etc., and how to utilize smart glass services to make VR more accessible for corporations.
