Alvix exhibited at Inter BEE 2014 for three days from Wednesday, November 19th to Friday the 21st, 2014, held at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. They revealed 10 broadcasting focused devices as part of their “Alvix Playout Solution”. They displayed their program creation, editing, and broadcast applications on banners and hanging displays at booth number 3001.

Alvix’s president, Yoshinori Honma, said “We develop each of our products for the broadcasting industry based on the motto of Made in Japan. In addition, we specialize in delivering total solutions that are customized to specific needs. We’ve set up our booth at Inter Bee in order to show everyone our company’s ability to provide integrated solutions. We look forward to welcoming everyone to experience Alvix’s technologies and solutions”.

- Multi-viewer MV-550, a Much Awaited new Product
The “Multi-viewer MV-550” made its premier appearance at Inter Bee, capable of dividing a 48ch SDI input signal into a four system output to high resolution monitors, with each screen differing from the other and partitioned into 12 sections. The 48ch inputs can be outputted anywhere on the 4 system output. Further, a single input signal can be outputted to display on multiple monitors.

Yasuo Kusama, director and sales manager, had the following to say about the system.
“We developed it based on our fundamental technology and experience with large image multi-view expansion devices. It has broad application to the master control rooms of broadcasters. We expect there to be a big market as the master control devices of broadcasters continue to be upgraded and go digital. We expect it to go on sale in March next year. We have designed it as a solution mainly for broadcasters that have a need to view many channels at the same time, such as cable television networks”.

- Monitoring of Image and Sound Errors of 16 Systems with 1 Unit
The imaging and sound error monitoring device “VAD-816” can monitor 16 systems for imaging and sound errors.

Ms. Mayumi Kawasaki, sales department section manager, had the following to say about the VAD-816’s features.
“One of the biggest features is the speed and accuracy of its error detection. This new product can continuously monitor up to 16 channels per unit. Controlling 4 STB units with an infrared remote control, channels can be switched and monitored continuously. The unit can be implemented flexibly in accordance with priority items for supervision. It is already being used by many broadcasters”.

- Announcement of a New Service During the Exhibition
President Honma said, “We’ve prepared to make an announcement at InterBee. So please come to our booth to see the broadcasting solutions that will be available in the near future”. Alvix, which moved to its new Tokyo offices in front of Shinjuku-gyoen station in Tokyo in October of this year, will continue to expand its Made in Japan technologies from Niigata.
