Photron Limited (head office: Chiyoda, Tokyo) will exhibit at Inter BEE 2016, taking place at Makuhari Messe from Wednesday, November 16 to Friday, November 18, 2016. Photron's booth at Inter BEE 2016 (Hall 4, booth #4405) will showcase Photron's solutions as a system integrator, focusing on the concepts of 4K HDR production, EVS sports, stadium, drama, and variety programs, and Vizrt virtual and real-time graphics. Selecting from a rich production line up, the company's latest video production equipment and solutions will be on display. Visitors will be able to see optimal systems for different workflow needs.

■ Showcasing a 4K HDR workflow demo using Avid technology, in addition to TFX-Artist, a telop system Photron developed for broadcasting
In the 4K HDR Production Zone, demonstrations will feature 4K HDR workflow solutions with Media Composer (Avid’s 4K nonlinear editing system) connected to Avid’s 4K compliant video I/O interface Artist|DNxIO, which incorporates hardware from Blackmagic Design, along with Blackmagic Design’s color grading software DaVinci Resolve 12.5 STUDIO running through Avid’s new 4K real-time storage device NEXIS E4.
Also on exhibit will be TFX-Artist, a telop system the company developed for broadcasting and released on August 31, 2016. The system offers "Deko like" operability, such as text ornaments and short cuts, while it also supports one-touch toggling between horizontal and vertical text, and font features such as kerning and alternate character choices. The booth will offer special demonstrations by companies using TFX-Artist, as well as sharing information about future upgrades.

■ Reference exhibit of Photron's mobile apps for automated video editing (tentative title)
Photron will also present a reference exhibit at Inter BEE showcasing its Automated Video Editing Mobile App (tentative title) that it developed for use on the iPad and iPhone. The booth will introduce workflows on actual equipment, including using the mobile app to edit footage for broadcast stations and send the results to the nonlinear editing system. Visitors will have the chance to see technology for general companies, view products and exhibits, and learn how they can easily use automated editing for various types of video content on the mobile app.

Showcasing EVS’s new XT4K server specifically for 4K (as seen at this year’s NAB Show) and the Xeebra instant replay system for referee decisions
In the Sports, Stadium, Drama & Variety Zone, visitors will be able to see Japan’s first exhibition of EVS’s new XT4K, the latest video production server that achieves 4K 4 channel + HD 12 channel, as showcased at this year’s NAB Show. XT4K is a dedicated 4K server that can handle four channels of 4K ingest and playout. The server supports 4K super motion cameras, 4K XAVC native encoding/decoding, slow replay, multi-camera playback, and playlist editing. Also on exhibit will be the Xeebra instant replay system, which was used at this year's NFL Super Bowl. Xeebra allows users to check plays from multiple, synchronized camera angles, while also supporting single-frame playback, and slowmotion playback, rewind, and fast forward.
This exhibit zone will also showcase STING, the company's program for studio file recording control, and OnAir Director, a management system for editing and exporting highlights and camera chase scenes.

■ Reference exhibit for Singular, the live graphics tool for online broadcasting by Singular.live
In the Virtual and Real-Time Graphics Zone, on exhibit will be Viz Story, Vizrt's new production and broadcasting system for online media. Viz Story is a production and broadcasting system that offers an all-in-one package for editing and sending video online to Facebook, SNS, and the like. The same exhibit zone will also offer a reference exhibit for Singular, the live graphics tool for cloud-based online broadcasting by Singular.live.
