Inter BEE 2013 TV: Tektronix showcased 4K-capable video signal measurement/HEVC analysis solutions and demonstrated a variety of new products
Tektronix attended Inter BEE 2013 to exhibit its high-definition 4K video technologies and quality assurance solutions for video signal measurement and HEVC analysis. The company showcased a wide variety of its latest equipment/solutions, including new products with support for 4K standards and testing/measurement solutions capable of loudness measurement, image quality evaluation, file-based content management, and IPTV network management, as well as high-definition 4K video signal measurement technology.

The WFM2300 model compact 3G/HD/SD-SDI waveform monitor equipped with a new eye pattern display function and capable of battery operation.
As a new signal generator, the new ECO8000 model automatic changeover unit with support for 3G-SDI signals, featuring a hot swapping dual power supply and 20 high-density BNC channels.
They also showcased a WFM2300 equipped with a jitter measurement option and optical interface as a new portable waveform measurement device with support for SD/HD/3G-SDI.
Further, in the MPEG corner, they demonstrated the MTS4EAV7 HEVC/AVC Video & Audio Analyzer, a video and ES analyzer with support for HEVC/H.265. The product is intended for ES analysis of H.265/HEVC/AVC streams and standards compliance testing, making it suitable for the design, development, and evaluation of 8K/4K codecs. It is scheduled to ship in December.
