IDK (Headquarters: Yamato, Kanagawa, Japan) exhibited at its own company booth its new product, the digital video analyzer GF-100. The company also put other products on display including the 4K60p-compatible VAC-3000HD-A HDMI 2.0 signal splitter and the 4K60p-compatible OPF-TH2500/RH2500 HDMI 2.0 optical fiber range extender on show for reference.

■ The GF-100 HDMI/DVI Digital Analyzer, for easy, on-the-spot checking of devices
The GF-100 Digital Analyzer is an HDMI/DVI digital video analyzer for isolating faults in digital AV systems. It is priced at ¥180,000 (excluding tax). The GF-100 Digital Video Analyzer is able to test the source device, sink device, and cable/transmission line, and offers DDC monitoring between the source device and sink device. For example, by connecting the HDMI cable from a source device, such as a digital camera or playback device, to the source test terminal of the GF-100, the analyzer can display and check the image resolution, frame rate, existence/absence of HDCP, color depth, color space, aspect ratio, number of sound channels, sampling frequency, and other data by simply selecting "Source State" from the menu. When you connect a sink device such as a monitor, the analyzer can display specifications such as the resolution, existence/absence of HDCP and the like. According to a company representative, "There are now a large number of devices used professionally that support HDMI, and this analyzer allows us to check them all easily. If any fault develops, it can be used to quickly isolate the cause."

■ HDMI 2.0 signal splitter and range extender supporting 4K60p, on display for reference
IDK exhibited various products that support 4K, including the 4K60p-compatible VAC-3000HD-A HDMI 2.0 signal splitter, the 4K60p-compatible OPF-TH2500/RH2500 HDMI 2.0 optical fiber range extender, the 4K60p-compatible VLC-30HD-A HDMI 2.0 cable compensator, and the 4K60p-compatible KVM-T01/R01 HDMI 2.0 KVM optical fiber range extender.
The VAC-3000HD-A is an HDMI 2.0 signal three-way splitter with D/A sound conversion. It is a 4K60p-compatible successor to the existing VAC-3000HD HDMI signal three-way splitter. It supports digital cable compensation, analog sound conversion and output, EDID emulation, and HDCP. The OPF-TH2500/RH2500 is a 4K60p-compatible HDMI 2.0 optical fiber range extender providing bidirectional communication of uncompressed raw signals without loss of quality over RS-232c and LAN, with support for C in HDCP/CE passthrough. Depending on the SFP module selection, it can provide range extension from 150m up to 1.4km. The VLC-30HD-A is a 4K60p-compatible HDMI 2.0 cable compensator that can perform equalization on the TMDS input signal and automatically minimize deterioration of a signal as it travels along a cable. It is a 4K60p-compatible version of the existing VLC-30HD product. The KVM-T01/R01 is a 4K60p-compatible HDMI 2.0 KVM optical fiber range extender. With support for dual-link DVI (two systems) and DDC2B/EDID, the device is capable of extending single-mode fiber optic signals up to 40km. In addition, in regard to audio, it is AES3 and S/PDIF compatible, and supports bidirectional audio transmission.
These products are on display for reference as 4K60p-compatible devices. According to a company representative, "The products support HDMI 2.0, but they are currently undergoing verification for 4K/60p (4:4:4) / HDCP 2.2. They are planned for release once they are fully HDCP 2.2 compatible."
