Digital wireless systems 'ULX-D' for fixed installation

Shure Japan's most notable products (Professional Audio Category #4307) this year are its ULX-D digital wireless systems and AXT high-performance wireless microphone systems designed for broadcast and PA use.
The ULX-D digital wireless system was developed for fixed installation and it is best suited to conference use. One-channel receivers went on sale in April but dual and quad channel receivers are now being launched as new products. Those products are equipped with advanced technology best suited to conference and speech applications, such as HD mode, which enables the operation of up to 30 simultaneous channels on band B, or AES 256-bit encryption for secure transmission.
The AXT high perfomance model is a wireless microphone system designed for broadcast and PA. It made its debut at last year's InterBEE. It is one of Shure's highest grade wireless system models. It has been developed for wireless operations in concerts or live broadcasts with no error tolerance. Unlike conventional wireless systems, its advanced technology integrates digital and analog.

■Product presentations in three market zones
The Shure booth has three market zones to introduce their products.
○ Products for broadcast, media production 'BROADCAST / MEDIA PRODUCTION'
○ Products for live performance 'PERFORMANCE'
○ Products for conference applications 'FIXED INSTALLATION'

These three zones will exhibit the three product lines and give demonstrations for each market.

■Latest information on frequency switchover of specific radio microphones
On the main stage in the Shure booth, the product representative and application engineers of Shure will hold seminars that focus on the featured products and latest information on the switchover of frequencies of specific radio microphones. The first five hundred attendees who have filled in a survey questionnaire will receive original goods from Shure.

The seminar on the frequency switchover of specific radio microphones will include explanations of the frequency transition in wireless microphones or intercom systems under the provisions of the amended Radio Act. While the new frequencies have already been available since July 25th, 2012, people may wonder when the current radio microphones become unavailable or if they can be compensated for transition expenses. They will also answer questions about the frequency change including questions such as whether the scope of the change also includes band B radio microphone systems and how the change affects Shure's wireless products.
