Inter BEE 2015 TV - Mitomo showcases Media Bucket ultra high speed network storage that can share multiple NLE units to NAS at 2Gbps; also demos 4K camera focus unit, 4G LTE transceiver
Mitomo exhibited Media Bucket, their originally developed ultra high speed network storage system. This original product uses a 2Gbps high speed NAS server to enable simultaneous connection to multiple nonlinear editing units. At the Mitomo booth, it was demonstrated as a workflow in combination with transcoders and high speed file transfer tools. The system is highly customizable, using three work styles—high speed, standard, and high capacity—as baselines.
Mitomo also showcased the FA-P1 focus assist unit for 4K cameras by Keishoku Giken, capable of altering focus point color. They also exhibited Japan's first ever IP500H 4G LTE transceiver, capable of simultaneous communication between Tokyo, Kyushu, and Hokkaido. The device requires no special qualifications or license. Optional headsets and microphones are also available.
