 The Multiscreen Broadcasting Study Group (booth: 8209) is a collaborative effort by 37 commercial broadcasting networks investigating the feasibility of creating a "Second Screen" platform. They aim to provide second screen content on smartphones via the airwaves, and plan to perform an on-air trial in January or February next year. This system delivers real-time surveys, search words and notifications using the Internet. They are conducting demonstrations at the convention center.
