【Inter BEE 2013】 Leader Electronics make the 'LV5490' 4K waveform monitor the centerpiece of their exhibit
Leader Electronics (booth 5417) have made the 'LV5490' 4K waveform monitor, first introduced at the NAB Show, the focus of their exhibit.
The monitor handles two methods of signal division––two-sample interleave, or square division. Two systems can be displayed using 3G-SDI quad link 4K video inputs, and up to four systems can be displayed with 3G (dual link) 4K video inputs. Eight total inputs are available, with four dedicated input connectors and four input/output channels. It is capable of simultaneous display of four 3G-SDI, HD-SDI, and SD-SDI inputs.
The compact, nine-inch built-in LCD display has Full HD resolution. Dot-by-dot and magnified display are employed to support focus confirmation, which is a challenge in 4K production. The screen can also be displayed on a Full HD external monitor using SDI and DVI outputs. Multiple input signals, including waveform, vector, picture, and audio can be displayed simultaneously or in layers. The size and position of each display field can be easily adjusted to the user’s preference using a USB or wireless mouse.
There are three options to use in conjunction with the LV5490: the 'LV5490SER01' (SDI input), the 'LV5490SER02' (SDI input/EYE display), and the 'LV5490SER03' (digital audio).
