Seven companies including Samsung will join together to carry out demos centering on “Samsung SSDs to support the video of the 4K/8K generation” for three days, from Wednesday, November 14th to Friday the 16th, during Inter BEE 2018 held at Makuhari Messe.
Seven companies will present in total, namely Samsung Japan Corporation, ITG Marketing, Onsitestandard Corporation, Japan Broadcast Solutions, Inc., Visual Technology, Inc., TSUKUMO Co., Ltd., and MITOMO Co.,Ltd.
Devices equipped with a Samsung SSD, which offers the most storage, speed, and reliability for recording, editing, rendering, and replaying video content during production, will be able to quickly process huge quantities of 4K/8K data in a stable operating environment and provide a solution to the heavy storage burdens placed on devices.

【Devices on exhibit】
○ HighPoint’s NVMe RAID, 4K60P non-linear editing workstation solution.
○ 4K Video editing workstations equipped with high speed interfaces such as Thunderbolt3, USB3.1 Gen2, and 10GbE.
○ 4K/8K engineering workstations apt for high resolution video editing.
【Demos】
○ 4K RAW recording and smooth video playback using a combination of the next-generation Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K and the Portable SSD T5 storage device.

【Main SSD products on exhibit】
■ 860 PRO/EVO (2.5 inch)
Equipped with the latest 64-layer V-NAND technology and new MJX controller.
The 860 PRO supports sequential reading up to 560MB/s, and sequential writing up to 530MB/s.
