[Inter BEE 2016 TV] Fraunhofer IIS Exhibits the Cingo Mobile Device with Immersive Sound for VR

At Inter BEE 2016, held at Makuhari Messe over 3 days from November 16th (Wed) to 18th (Fri), Fraunhofer IIS exhibited MPEG-H Audio for next generation TV and the Cingo mobile device with immersive sound for VR.

●MPEG-H Audio for next generation TV
Through the object based audio and immersive audio functions, you can ajust the sound mix to your preference, improving the reality of the entire audio experience.
The MPEG-H Audio system is compatible with existing broadcasting and streaming devices and has been utilized for the ATSC A/342 standard.

●Cingo mobile device with immersive sound for VR
3D audio content is rendered through headphones while considering head movements. As a result, sounds can be recognized from various parts of the surrounding 3 dimensional space.
As a truly immersive soundscape, the effect it has in adding reality to the VR experience is huge.
