[Inter BEE 2015] Solutions LABO・R exhibits new speaker BOX products with developments in their patented assist woofer technology — providing exciting realism as close as possible to live

　Solutions LABO・R will exhibit at Inter BEE 2015, which will be held at Makuhari Messe from November 18th (Thursday) to 20th (Friday). They will display a number of new products that they developed, which feature their BOX structure, allowing high-quality bass sounds better than the size of the speakers. (Booth number: Hall 1/1208).

■ Unique patented technology: the assist woofer
The assist woofer is patented technology by solutions LABO・R Corp. (SLR), and allows a bass that blends into speakers of any size, adds thickness to the mid-high range, and extracts fine music signals. The SLR system maintains balance of large and small volumes, features natural bass enhancement, and gives a sense of air, massiveness, reverberation, and echo to enjoy.
The SLR method BOX develops the assist woofer, and is a BOX where the back pressure of the speaker is received by a planar speaker structure capable of releasing bass components from the bass reflex port, on both left and right speakers. By releasing the optimal frequency range from the bass reflex port, it is possible to reinforce the bass, add assist effect which thickens the mid-high range, and extracts fine signals as sound.

■ Does not drop fine signals: "SLR-DEEP MONITOR II"
This unit uses the 13cm DPC cone MID (voice coil diameter: 75 mm) and employs a 19mm soft ring tweeter, together with a simple network (MID: full-range drive, Tweeter: -12db / oct), to provide very straight highly musical monitor sound without dropping fine signals. Regardless of the internal volume of 12 liters, it achieves bass reproduction exceeding the 25cm class. Reproduction frequency is 30 - 40000Hz, output sound pressure is 88db with impedance of 4Ω. Size 360mmx 245mmx 250mm (HxWxD), weight about 6.5kg. The 30mm thick side plates feature cedar from Tateyama in Toyama Prefecture. With the high sound transmittance of the Saran net, you can play high-quality sound with the grill attached.

■ Providing exciting realism as close as possible to live: "SLR-EXTREME · S"
Adopting a Heil driver for the mid-high range, strong without dropping fine signal at high speed, this latest high-end model delivers a sense of realism as close as possible to live. Carefully selected Japanese-made 20cm beryllium diaphragms give a high sound velocity, and can play up to higher sounds. It takes advantage of the AMT (Air Motion Transformer), with flat response and minimal coloring up to frequencies of 2500Hz. Reproduction frequency is 20 - 23000Hz, output sound pressure is 96db, and impedance is 4Ω. Size 5500mm x 315mm x 2800mm (HxWxD), weight about 14kg. The 30mm thick side plates feature cedar from Tateyama in Toyama Prefecture with urethane coating.

■ Achieving good balance and musicality in an ultra-miniature form factor "SLR-TROPHY · S"
Using a 5cm integrally molded pulp-based cone full range by Denmark Scan Speak Inc., this very satisfying ultra-compact model achieves good balance and musicality that is hard to believe coming from such a small diamter. It maintains balance with small volume listening, and listening does not tire you out. The reproduction frequency is 70 - 20000Hz, output sound pressure is 81db, and impedance is 8Ω. Size 230mm x 185mm x 210mm (HxWxD), weight about 2.7kg. The 30mm thick side plates feature cedar from Tateyama in Toyama Prefecture.
