Widely respected in the industry as one of the three major broadcasting equipment shows along with NAB of the US and IBC of Europe, Inter BEE was first held in 1965 and this year will mark the 47th holding of this exhibition. This year, in addition to the Video and Broadcast Equipment Zone, the Professional Audio Equipment Zone, and Professional Lighting Equipment Zone, Inter BEE will feature a Cross-media Zone - a newly established section designed to showcase the appeal of cross-media and digital content to better address upcoming opportunities in new businesses sectors such as IPTVs, Mobile TVs, Digital Cinema, Digital Signage, and 3D Imaging that are expected to grow rapidly after the complete transition to digital terrestrial broadcasting.

Inter BEE will also feature simultaneously held forums that will address subjects of interest such new trends of the broadcast industry and the introduction of new technological developments.
