Professional Show for Audio, Video and Communications
Inter BEE 2015 Outline Decided
Attendance Pre-registration Starts from Tomorrow on Inter BEE’s Official Website!


The Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA: Shigeaki Mizushima, Chairman / Chairman of the Board at Sharp Corporation) will hold “Inter BEE 2015” – a professional show for video, audio and communications – at Makuhari Messe (Mihama Ward, Chiba City) over three days from November 18 (Wednesday) to 20 (Friday), 2015. We will start attendance pre-registration on our official website from October 6 (Tuesday). The URL of our official website is http://www.inter-bee.com.

■Check the Progress of the 4K/8K Roadmap
Exhibitors are preparing to make proactive technological proposals and announce countless new products aimed at 4K/8K production which is making steady progress in light of the Second Interim Report published by the “4K/8K Roadmap Follow-up Meeting” that took place in July this year.

“4K/8K Roadmap 2015: Future Business Outlook”
There will be talks from Mr. Yoshida, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, Mr. Hamada, Chief Engineer of NHK, and others from SKY Perfect JSAT, NTT Plala, Jupiter Telecommunications and NexTV-F.

■ State-of-the-art in the Rapidly Progressing Broadcast Communication Cooperation
Video-on-demand services for multiple devices on the Internet (e.g. viewing missed programs and overseas dramas / original content delivery) from broadcasters have been developing rapidly. In a special project called “INTER BEE CONNECTED,” in addition to displays by exhibitors, nine themes that are now attracting a great deal of interest in the broadcasting world will be taken up with talks and panel discussions every day by key persons working on the frontline of broadcast communication cooperation.

“Start of the Official Commercial Broadcaster Television Portal ‘TVer’ Service: Thinking about the Future of Video Distribution”
There will be appearances by representatives from Nippon Television Network, TV Asahi, TBS TV, TV Tokyo and Fuji Television as panelists.

■Further Expansion of Experience Events
Inter BEE is expanding experience events as “INTER BEE EXPERIENCE” to fully demonstrate the special characteristics of exhibitors. We will be holding a line array speaker experience demo that was held on just one day last year again this year over three days with the participation of 13 companies – exceeding the nine companies that took part last year. In addition, we will be holding an outdoor flight demo in regards to aerial photography by drones that are high in demand in video production sites for the first time this year for professionals aiming to safely operate such devices.

■Start of Attendance Reservation for Diverse Conferences
We will start attendance reservation for the following conferences in addition to the keynote speeches at the same time as with the admission pre-registration.

“Thinking About the Next Generation Services in Television Broadcasting As We Welcome the ‘My Number’ Era”
In addition to a talk by Mr. Iizumi, the Tokushima Prefectural Governor, there will be a panel discussion moderated by Prof. Sudo from The University of Tokyo Graduate School.
-Invited Speeches (Free)
Leaders of overseas companies and organizations will introduce advanced initiatives and the latest trends every day. This will include cloud utilization proposals by Microsoft and Amazon Web Services and initiatives aimed at the Rio Olympics by the Brazilian TV Broadcasting Technology Association.
-Symposiums (Free)
Video Symposium: “New Content Production Trends: Impact of the Visualization of Big Data”
Audio Symposium: “Present and Future of the 700M Band Wireless Switch: Four Years Before the Complete Frequency Switch in 2019”
-Tutorial Sessions (Fee Required)
The themes of these sessions will be expertise it is normally difficult to ask about and teach as admission-paid courses for young engineers.
-Simultaneous “3rd Japan Post Production Conference” (Fee Required)
The Japanese version of the admission-paid session held at the NAB Show in the U.S. will again be held this year. First-rate speakers from outside of Japan will give lectures on four themes that have been subject to a great deal of attention in the U.S.
