Full 5.1 surround sound at data rates no higher than those of stereo MP3 and compatibility with MP3: This is offered by MP3 Surround. Thanks to Ensonido®, surround music can also be enjoyed on mobile devices over stereo headphones. To enhance stereo MP3 files to MP3 Surround files, MP3 Stereo extended (MP3 SX) can be used. MPEG Surround provides good quality multi-channel audio at bit rates only marginally higher than those of compressed stereo audio. Due to full compatibility with existing mono or stereo receivers, MPEG Surround enables broadcasters to switch from stereo to surround in a smooth and cost efficient way.

HD-AAC: High-Definition Advanced Audio Coding

HD-AAC is based on the standardized technologies MPEG-4 AAC and MPEG-4 SLS. It offers a scalable to lossless audio coding format. HD-AAC offers a wide variety of application scenarios: For studio operations it preserves the highest level of quality on production, processing, and storage level. Consumer can enjoy the lossless listening experience on their home PC whereas on portable devices the space saving high-quality AAC format can be used.
HDTV with MPEG-4 AVC/H.264
High Definition TV (HDTV) is the new worldwide digital TV standard. MPEG-4 Advanced Video Coding AVC/H.264 can be used for compressing this widescreen format. Fraunhofer IIS shows MPEG-4 AVC High Profile at 1280 x 720 pixel and a data rate of about 5 MBit/s. With pin sharp pictures and bright colors, HDTV brings the movie theatre into your living room.
DVB-H: Take your TV with you
Our improved DVB-H player SDK for Windows CE and embedded Linux based devices operates with DVB-H receivers using the IP interface. Furthermore it comes along with the integration of ISMACryp – an encryption system for secure transfer of multimedia content.
