The International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition 2005 (Inter BEE 2005) will be held at Makuhari Messe from November 16 to 18. This renowned event, a showcase of the newest technologies and emerging trends in broadcasting, is sponsored by the Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association (JEITA) and supported by the Japan Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) and the National Association of Commercial Broadcasters in Japan (NAB-J). Planning and management are provided by the Japan Electronics Show Association (JESA).
This year marks the 41st staging of Inter BEE, which has continued to grow in scope and scale since the inaugural event in 1965.
Because it gathers in one location broadcasting equipment of the highest level from throughout the industry, Inter BEE provides ample opportunities for business expansion, technology exchange and market stimulation. The shift to terrestrial digital broadcasting, in particular, is widening the applications of broadcast media and attracting increasing attention from the general public.
As the industry's leading professional exhibition of audio and visual products, Inter BEE promises lavish displays of the best professional equipment available. Each year, the show draws keen attention not only from broadcast industry insiders, but also from those involved in the many applications for broadcasting technologies.
In addition, the NAB in Japan Symposium of Broadcast Technology and other international events are being planned concurrently with Inter BEE 2005. Engineers from around Japan are expected to attend these events.
